I surprised plumb centre let you leave empty handed. If you go in and ask for a 2" x 1/2" Polypipe reducer this will be 56mm x 40mm which is probably more than likely what you are looking for. I think Marley size the same. Failing that go to Drain Centre or PDM, they'll know what you need.
