its a brand new fitment (rose) and pull string....any thoughts now....? i have a pen tester that you use your body for earth i have tested it at the rose and the pendant when i pull the switch cord it registers 240v and disappears when i pull it off- wayne-o

in my bathroom i have aceiling rose,there is power to the light fitment,when i turn the light on and off it recieves the 240v but it will not light up the blub....! yes i have tried a different bulb. when i shake the fitment about the bulb flickers, or used to now it does nothing,this sugests...- wayne-o
