Would this correct the issue with the pump coming on at 1am? It is doing something as the pipes beside the boiler are absolutely roasting. It is requesting the boiler to kick in as well so im not overly sure what the issue is.

Just got a new one of these installed the other day by a heating engineer as our old pump died after 7 years, the one installed has been on constant and the other casing is very warm, should this be like this or is there a malfunction somewhere?
