hi there. i’m building a garden room for my kids and picked up a couple of euro cell casements rather cheap with no glass. is there a rule of thumb when ordering the glass, and it would appear that i need to know how thick the units need to be including the spacing between the panes? any help...

just get a fixed price repair from worcester. would have been a lot cheaper than his quoted repair of over £500. worcester spares are actually pretty cheap in comparison to other manufacturers

pretty sure it sits inside the draught diverter as a spillage stat. think it interrupts the thermocouple if it overheats.

the heat exchanger on these boilers block easily and cannot be successfully flushed. the only realistic option is to replace the heat exchanger or replacement boiler

i think they may be slightly different the they have been slightly modified recently but the connections are still the same

i haven’t had a problem with them but they come ready paired out the box. they are literally a 5 minute change so I would change the whole lot. the wiring is the same

i have installed plenty of these honeywell’s and many have failed including two in my own home. i swapped to the wolseley version purely because of price and have never had one fail

this is actually true. it was a problem with the card actually. nothing to do with not having money.

you won’t have enough gap between the plasterboard and block. you’d have 20-30mm tops

there are guys out there who do siliconing all day long. if you’re after a pukka finish i’d try to find a silicon guy close to you. You’d be surprised how much better it’ll look

i would guess one of the flexible hoses is blocked. i bet when the heater was changed, the old hoses weren’t

just caught up with this. i had a similar situation with this with a car parked outside my house for months. had tax but expired mot. I contacted the local council who came out immediately and issued a warning notice, that they would remove the vehicle in one week if it wasn’t moved.

if you’re going to drain it to cut the olive off then solder a micro bore x 15mm reducer on and just fit a standard rad valve
