    Conventional Boiler vibration

Thanks again for replying. Usually when I turn on the heating it's like a waterfall from the tank into the boiler but for the last few weeks there's been nothing but silence until the noise starts. The f2 may have actually silenced it a little now that it's been in for 12hrs but iv 7 single...

    Conventional Boiler vibration

Hi thanks for the advice. I've put fernox f2 in but hasn't made any difference. One thing iv noticed though is the boiler doesn't appear to be taking water from the expansion tank nor does it appear to be venting into it. Could this be the problem and if so what can I do about it?

    Conventional Boiler vibration

Quick update. The noise which I initially thought wasn't kettling turns out almost certainly is. The noise now starts within a minute or so of the boiler kicking in and the entire system is red hot including the boiler housing pump and radiators. I've turned down the thermostat on the boiler...

Central heating pump wont switch off

The test was performed with the power off, so i was pretty much convinced that was the problem and it was just stuck open however i decided to monitor them both while removed from the valves and both opened and closed properly in response to the timer after power restored, albeit it very slowly...

Central heating pump wont switch off

Ive just had a look in the wiring centre and the live feed for both pump and boiler are connected to same terminal fed by the two valves. I also tool the powerheads off and they both act differently. The HW one has allot of resistance when opened manually and returns back to closed...

Hi Stem and thanks for the welcome and help The pump itself, along with the valves and boiler are wired into a Sunvic control box which i havent opened as yet to see what is inside. What should i be looking for in there? If it does turn out to be the microswitch, i'm guessing it would mean a...
