Can anyone tell me what this is?

Ok. Is there a general rule of thumb for where it should be set? Or am I going to have to get an engineer in to set it? I was hoping I might get away without having someone in? I have a feeling that the shower head is causing a back pressure to the shower and that's why it keeps cutting off....

Can anyone tell me what this is?

Thanks very much. Only reason I ask is that the previous owner has played around with pretty much everything, and we have a rather temperamental GROHE shower, which seems to keep tripping it's safety cut off. I wondered if this could be anything to do with it?

Can anyone tell me what this is?

Can anyone tell me what this is, and what it should be set too? Moved into a new house and noticed this connected to the Hot Water tank. It's on the floor and I presume its some sort of Pressure valve/throttle, but any idea what it should be set too?

    Wired Alarm systems

Hi, I am looking to install an alarm to my new house. The wiring was already in place for the alarm to be installed, but only for 2 rooms, and a door sensor. I was hoping to have something installed just for peace of mind, and a deterrent. But also install something that I could add to...
