    Sorry meant to add earlier the light on the pump a Grundfos UPS2 stays on all the time which I had not noticed before this situation arose. It is a new pump replaced 3 months ago

    I am still getting HW & CH does this mean the zone valves are working or not? The boiler is firing whether the programmer is on or off!!!

    Thanks for this how do check the zone valve it is situated beside hot water tank I do not understand mid valve never heard of it my system is 30 years old not all of it have had the zone valve/boiler/programmer replaced in that time may be it doesn't have one
