No, no extension

Thanks for your reply. There's no gutter above or anything coming out the roof... it seems strange to me as it's set back from the edge of the roof so I would have though it wouldn't be the right position for a gutter if you see what I mean?

Hi there... I've just pulled out a warm air system in my flat, built 1970.... Hiding behind two of the ducts was these pipes, one on each side of the flat and they go down through the floor and the lower floor flats. I can't work out what they are? They just stop in the loft and don't go...
