Thanks, i'll have a go with self tappers then as metal isn't too thick, and avoids negotiating access from other side that bolts would need.

Here is photo of fence. I haven't bought cleats yet. Someone today suggested self tapping screws... Id appreciate comments on that as need it to be very secure. Thanks
