Go beyond a blown fuse and everyone goes quiet ????

I tested all the fuses with a DVM but all were ok. Just to reiterate: When I switch on the air con with the fan speed set on 3 nothing at all happens. The engine tone doesn't change or the revs dip. I've had the car for 1 year and this is the first time I've tried the air con. Any ideas?

The fan was definitely switched on. I switched it up to 4 but still no change in temperature. Hopefully it is just the fuse. But normally if a fuse has blown you'd expect more things not working? Unfortunately I haven't got a users manual. I'll find where the fuses are tomorrow and...

The air con on my 03 plate megane is not working. If I switch it on nothing happens. Any ideas what could be wrong? Is this a common problem with megane's?
