    Dan, the advice I was given was by a gas safe registered plumber friend actually, who knows I'm more than capable of doing this job, I'd of double checked with him about filling the trap except he's gone away for 3 weeks and it's him will be checking the job and testing it and connecting the gas...

    Not one mate, and as I'm not a plumber only wanted to clarify that one point!! Had some advice before hand as to piping sizes flue positioning ect ect, as I said clarify that one point was all as I don't want to pour water where it's not meant to go, and I thought this site was to help people...

    Hi everyone, I'm fitting a new combi boiler into a different location but need a query answered if possible, the manual says to put a litre of water into the condensate trap through the exhaust, and that's about it, I'd just like to confirm that this means through the inner section of the flue...
