Wow, a fair bit of difference in price compared to the Hive kit, Any reason why the Hive is a no no?

Oh right, I thought it was the case of replacing the control upstairs with the receiver (Hive) connecting the hub and stat and then setting up an account via the app or thats what I had thought anyway.
