Did the first cut of the year today, mower started first time and it's as sturdy as ever going through the long grass. Thinking of this thread I had a look at the label to see the date of manufacture: 2001! It's a Mountfield with a Honda engine, can't recommend them enough.

Serial number says it was made in 2015, so not old. Might make a call when I get a chance.

Hope someone can help me here, having a frustrating time with this setup. New boiler was running on an old 240v timer, room thermostat and wiring strip and have replaced them with the recommended Vaillant controls. CH works perfectly, kicks in when demanded and off when not, modulates the flow...
