    If there is no other place to install it then i would just install it where you said you would. I think it should still work... if it doesnt i dont think it will damage the reciever (maybe someone else can confirm this). In which case you can think of plan B then.

    Its not far from the boiler.... it is more than the recommended distance though. where is your boiler at the moment and is it going to be a problem fitting it as per the recommended guideline?

    I can confirm that the control panel is the same as mine. Also note that once you've wired everything and powered up... nest will take you through some tests.... 1 of which is testing the boiler heating turns on and then off from the nest thermostat.... when i tested this i was expecting it to...

    You leave the switch on continous after installating the nest. I would follow the manufacturers instructions on the suitable distance of the receiver. If you have the same boiler as mine (see previous msgs) then i would suggest following miked's instructions as thats what i did and it works...

    Hi, Did you ever managed yo sorg out you damp issues? looking at the picture attached it appears that your external ground level are too high and that it should be at least 150mm below the damp course. i have a similar problem and i think thats the root of the problem. Anyone got any further...
