Current layout, should I simply put all the upstairs rads into the 22mm before they defend to below the ground floor, or leave it as is!

Would there ever have been a reason to send the flow and return down stairs and then back up to feed the upstairs rads in an open vented s plan? Could it be to give priority to the downstairs rads? If is stick in a few reducing tees I can basically feed all the upstairs rads before the main 22mm...

Should I check this with he pump on or off?, and is there a standard setting for the abv? I bled all the rads after I fitted the pump and with the pump on, I get flow from every one but I did it with the pump on and system at full temperature.

FYI i rotated the head 180 degrees before fitting so the the plug was from the bottom as per the manual, flow is downward. PRV setting anyone?

I have noticed that when all the radiators are hot the pipe from the relief valve to the return is too hot to touch, I would guess this is because the TRVs are closed, what setting should the valve be set at? Could this cause hot water to return to the boiler so it thinks it is heating too fast...
