    Alarm

Internal speaker, yes. Engineer code, details should be in the supplied manual. All alarms have them. DIY friendly, Should be. It's by far not the hardest to set up and install, far from it, however it is also reasuringly decent to install, meaning that it isn't a DIY system.

Veritas 8 external sounder not working

You may have set the part set option to sound internal sounders and keypads only. That is all I can say, as I don't work on Texecom systems.

RF from amateur radio triggering squawks from outside alarm sounder

Adding a bell box disconnect switch isn't a good idea, so don't do it until you've got the bell working properly. Have you replicated the old wiring before you replaced it with screened cable?

RF from amateur radio triggering squawks from outside alarm sounder

I presume you replecated the previous wiring you had going to the bell box, as, for some reason, the siren's not getting enough current. Also, it would be better if you actually connect the screened wire to the terminal blocks on both devices instead of wire splices.

RF from amateur radio triggering squawks from outside alarm sounder

What I'm trying to understand is... did you cut the bell box battery? Because if you did, it won't sound when hold off voltage is cut.

RF from amateur radio triggering squawks from outside alarm sounder

That's the bell box's internal battery making the bell box sound. Put the wires supplying the hold off voltage to the bell box onto the + and - terminals on the backup battery. Unless you hide that switch really well and have constant knowledge that it exists and that it is on/off you really...

RF from amateur radio triggering squawks from outside alarm sounder

I think it's the radio messing with the bell box itself. It may be a good idea to fashion an RF screen and put it over the sounder and see if it stops. If not, try putting one over the panel. If that doesn't help, you might want to run screened cable to the bell box.

Accenta G4 System will not set - help please

End Of Line settings. There will be a menu in the engineer's settings to do with EOL stuff, like changing the resistance of the circuit etc. They're great at times, but for novices it can be a nightmare.

Accenta G4 System will not set - help please

It means that the PIR is tripping a lot or there was a faulty connection with the relay wires. I suggest untwisting the wires and putting them back into the connector, closing up the PIR and trying to set the alarm a couple times. This way, you'll be sure it's the PIR at fault and not the...

    Scantronic 9448+ Issue

Go for 2.1Ah. I went with a 2.2Ah for mine. As long as the size is the same, you could be able to get a 2.3Ah battery.

    Concept remote keypad

Sounds like a battery fault to me. As it's a Concept, I doubt the battery has any life in it.

    Scantronic 9448+ Issue

Order new battery and see if that cures the transformer hum. The old battery might be drawing a fair bit of juice if it's getting to the end of its life.

    A1 Alarm manual

Those numbers won't work either. To be fair, you should probably get a whole new bell box that actually has a backplate as those are way more secure than those without one.

Router needs resetting every Wednesday - Texecom alarm, Hikvision NVR, ???

I was going to say that the router is probably your issue. Those BT Home Hub routers are awful when you want to use them for things. They're really Huwei cheapie routers in a nice BT case. I got one when switched to fibre optic internet and it was good... for a month and then it started to kill...

Yes they have a Non Volatile Memory chip that keeps a hold on crucial information i.e codes. You will need to re enter in the time and date.

Yes yes that is a bit of an issue. Hell, I own a similar panel with a similar board in it. Should have seen that right away! Let's hope your panel is in a place that is hard for a burglar to get to! With regards to what Sparky said, follow his instructions. That's basically what you need to...

Not really. That no tamper thing surprises me. Was there a switch on the inside top of the panel? That battery is 3 years overdue for replacement anyway.

Alarm will sound on internal speakers and keypads when you open the panel, or if someone tries to jemmy it off the wall. Enter in your code to silence the alarm.
