    Removing paint from osb.

I’d buy some more OSB and cut it to fit inside. You will be ages sanding and a belt sander is likely to dig into the OSB. You could try paint stripper. Personally, I’d paint the inside white

DIY Garden fencing job query about Concrete Post fitting

As above. Use a post hole spade. I hired one first, next time I bought one as it worked out cheaper. They allow a deep hole to be dug narrow, so that the existing ground remains solid. 25% of post in the hole.

Looking for someone to weld a piece of tube for me, but not sure who or how to ask

What is it to do? 60x60 x4 will give a 52 mm internal. You could insert a 50 mm square slug inside, packed with flat bar. Use epoxy as a bond.

Headlines Six tumble dryer fires in seven weeks but what type?

To be honest, I’d never leave a dishwasher/washing machine/tumbler (mine is a combo) on while I was out. Dishwashers/clothes washers also have the ability to cause floods. All of my stuff is quiet

    Fence Post Fixing Ideas

I don’t know either, but if you core drill a circular slot, leaving a core still attached at the base, could you chisel it out by fragmentation?

    Fence Post Fixing Ideas

Could you use bolt down sockets but also use reinforcing bars/braces at an angle into the trees? Like many old railway fences used to have?

Planning permission, or not, for demolition of an attached garage.

Fair enough, I would email first, don’t rely on a phone call as you need written proof . Even if the proof turns out to be incorrect, it would avoid you being blamed. I suspect that you don’t need permission but you’d need permission for everything else anyway.

Planning permission, or not, for demolition of an attached garage.

Why do you need to wait for the architect? Just contact the planning authority with a question. You could also remove the doors from the garage front, and knock the back out. Obviously done properly! A mini digger would go right through and you’d have a very solid car port or demolish

Copying VHS to USB Memory Stick and Attaching "Modern" TV

What I meant was the plug? Some leads were only wired to be in or out. To save money, the cheaper ones scrimped on pins. If it’s fully pinned and only has three photos, bleep it through.

Can I mount an EV charger on a chain-link fence post?

If you must use that post, use a composite material panel that won’t rot or discolour

Copying VHS to USB Memory Stick and Attaching "Modern" TV

Is it a 25 pin SCART. Bear in mind that some SCaRT can be in or out only. The front sockets will be IN only. You need to at least get one part of the system working in order to check the rest, otherwise you can’t get your head around where the issue is...

Although I would check with the handrail Co.

How to fix deep hole near window that needs to be drilled again ?

I think that the red plastic might be part of the window fixing? Without a good view I wonder if some quick set mortar with a bit of 2x1 in it (or a small offcut of a broom handle) to stick to the building yet provide grip for the new screw? Then worry after about making good
