Hi, thanks for the pics. This looks very similar to the pictures of my old ceiling. I've been reading that asbestos was used in anaglypta up until the 1980's which has caused me to worry again now. I really do hope that i can get some closure on this, either way.

Thank for your comments, i appreciate your feedback. The thing is, i find it hard to compare to the examples you gave. If you smoke say only socially during a small period of your life you are very unlikely to get lung cancer. If you cycle and get bumped off your bike by a car or fall off it...
