Whats the best way to protect kitchen sink cabinets from leaks?

I have rental properties and tenants often don't notice or care about leaks under the sink until it becomes a major problem. I am thinking of lining the inside of the cabinets with something like Fablon or possibly vinyl flooring, which would be more durable. Any tips please ?

Any idea what these vents are for please?

Hi, I am getting black could in a bedroom. It has a vent either side of the window outside but they don't go through to the inner wall. The neighbours have these vents too. Is it possible they are venting the loft? Can they be causing cold points hence condensation and mould? Thanks

How can i repair a leaking soldred tee

Ideally, I prefer to use compression fittings, but not sure if the pipe will be long enough to meet the fitting once I cut out the soldered part. I suppose I can add another joint to make the pipe a bit longer. What's the best please?
