    Can't find correct lightbulb

It is visible, but it doesn't matter, as it's high up in a small porch. Golf ball it is, then! cheers.

    Can't find correct lightbulb

By the way, this bulb was bought from Tesco within the last ten years or so! It has the Tesco logo on the top. And '60w'

    Can't find correct lightbulb

Here's a pic. It's about 9cm total length, or three and a half inches. I think I'll have to get a golf ball bulb; it doesn't matter if it's a little short. Thanks for all the suggestions, much appreciated.

    Can't find correct lightbulb

Thank you. It's not a golf ball, it's the traditional 'pear shape' type. But a golf ball bulb would be fine, as long as it's short and with a B22 fitting. So, thanks again!

    Vaillant Turbomax VUW 242E question

Many thanks to both of you. Andrew: He's a decent bloke who we've used for years and wouldn't take any petrol money for the 'wasted' visit - just stopped for a coffee and a talk! And I do have confidence in his thoroughness, just not in his being able to obtain the precise Vaillant parts...

    Vaillant Turbomax VUW 242E question

Hi Our boiler needs a new diverter valve; in the past we've paid Vaillant to replace it but they are so expensive (about £300) that we thought we'd ask our regular plumber to do it. He couldn't find the valve for less than £140 plus VAT, so he suggested I look online, and I found one for £84...
