Thanks both. Rookie mistake - the filling valve wasnt closed. Drained some water out of the radiator and pressure has dropped. Thanks for your help.

No to inhibitor. I tried bleeding water out of radiators but no joy.

Hi, I have a worcester 28cdi boiler which is at 3 bar when the boiler is off. Boiler was working fine until radiators were removed and replaced by plasterers. Boiler was repressurised too high. How do i repressurise back to 1 bar?
