there should be a thin aluminium bar the length of the panels that slots between the joined panels. this locks them together. I think from memory the length of free span without support is 3.5 to 4M stainless screws and an inch long aluminium u bracket held them down to what ever support they...

what needs repairing? just the scratches? if so use brasso it brings acrylic up a treat unless the scratches are deep.
