It is just the sloping ceiling I am concerned about, which is part of a roof, which is insulated with rockwool (I think) and nowhere near any soffits, unless I am misunderstanding what you mean...

    We are having a small ensuite fitted in an attic room and as a result, the shower has a ceiling sloping from approx 2m to 1.5m, which means that the bottom of it is likely to get wet.
