Thanks 23vc! I guess this is the stuff then Damp was due to a massive hole in external render on flat.. Thats been fixed for a while so it's up to me to deal with inside!

Hi, I'm going to attempt to patch an internal wall that had previous external damp issues (now fixed but still drying out). I've removed some of the blown plaster back to exposed brick and a previous sand coloured render in the corner that seems solid. I'm planning to hack back more around...
