Apparently when I put the CH on now, the hot water works. But if the CH is off, the water is cold.

Soonest I can get an engineer to the house is Wednesday (rural). So I am trying to find some way to get hot water going.

OK Something wierd - Turn the hot water tap on and it gets semi warm for about 10 secs then goes cold again.

Hi Guys, I have a potterton combi 28HE and scratching my head. CH working fine, kicking on and kicking off no problem. Hot water however is a different story. Turn the tap on and the boiler fires, the temperature goes up but the water is running cold from the tap. Any ideas?
