Noted. I did realise that it's an old post, but it seems to be a common problem. I thought it might be useful for someone else searching for the same problem in the future.

You'll probably find it impossible to unscrew the bezel in situ. You need to pull the whole unit out of the ceiling recess, and disconnect it from the electrical supply (switch off at the mains first!). Secure it in a vice, or Workmate, and use one of those serrated jar-opening devices to...
