Thanks for the advice. I've applied one coat of Osmo Hardwax Oil. Fantastic product and very easy to apply. Applying second coat tomorrow and will then buff up with my polisher. :D

My house has original woodblock flooring dating back to the 50's. The living area has until recently been the only exposed floor. This surface is waxed and past it's best. There are lighter and darker patches where furniture/rugs have been over the years. The colour is quite orange...
