thanks all for your advise.i was advised to turn all rads off except the one that did not work and run the heating this seems to have cured the problem now sitting here sweating! thanks again for your advise

also the problem is just on one rad down stairs furthest from boiler

boiler is baxi solo 2, it is a combi boiler,dont know about valves,not how to find out

radiators are cold at the bottom but luke warm at the top,have bled radiators but there is no difference
