    Enforcer question

Yes, that's exactly what happens. Well at least I'm not being a complete moron :giggle:. I'll clean start it, now I know the system better, it won't take me long. Thanks for your advice.

    Enforcer question

Hi there, Thanks for replying. Just had a chance to check... The dectectors work on a walk test for zone "B". It mentioned all 3 and it chimed during the walk test and completed. Input areas a set to "ALL" I set the alarm via the keypad, went upstairs as though I was going to bed. Once set...

    Enforcer question

Thanks for everyone's help so far, I've got another question :( I've noticed that when I set B (Night Mode) none of the PIRs set the countdown timer like they do on A, despite being assigned to that letter. The only sensor that starts the countdown / alarm is the magnetic sensor on the front...

    Pyronix Enforcer V10 Setup

I have this exact model, I have no alarm experience whatsoever. Apart from a bit of confusion with the PIR roles, which a gentleman kindly helped me out with...installation was a breeze.

    Pryonix installation difficulty?

I'm using KX10DP-WE as the PIRs (x4) and door contacts MC1MINI-WE (x3) although I think I should have got the door contacts with the shock sensors built in for my windows :(

    Enforcer question

Hey y'all Really happy with my enforcer thus far but I'm a little thrown by what to set the PIRs to function as I'd like them to. My keypad is the front room, in a hidden location :sneaky: The ones I'm not sure about are; 2x PIRs (Hallway and Front Room) - set as "Exit Route" 1x Magentic...

    Pryonix installation difficulty?

Thanks, the issue was "user error" :D when the app was asking for a code, I tried using the engineer code and the Google Authenticator app code....any code....except for the master manager or user :ROFLMAO:. All good now, I know the app doesn't look much but I really love the push functionality...

    Pryonix installation difficulty?

Hi, I eventually went for a new Enforcer kit but it was only released in April, it cost me almost half of what I was going to spend as it includes the WIFI module for free, so glad I waited...

    Pryonix installation difficulty?

After re-assessing my funds, I may have to opt for a cheaper system....I'm currently pricing up a Texecomm Ricochet system as an alternative.. I'm looking at a Texecom Premier Elite Kit-0002 32 Zone Wireless Kit - £226 The kit only comes with Elite 48w which is way overkill for me, I'd much...

    Pryonix installation difficulty?

I'd love to pay half the price and go with a wired solution but the cabling would be near impossible!

    Pyronix Cloud Costs

I called Map Security yesterday to enquire about purchasing the Enforcer, I asked about the cost of the cloud service and was told that it was £30excl VAT a year. Someone else mentioned in my thread above that they thought it was the first year only but wasn't sure. I would imagine it's probably...

    Pryonix installation difficulty?

Yes sorry, i can see the confusion, I meant just moving house, as in the property is new to me. I thought the Pyronix enforcer keypad unit was all part of the main panel. I see with some models, like the Honeywell that they are seperate. In the house I'm moving into, there is no power/sockets...

    Pryonix installation difficulty?

My house was built in the 70s but it's worth considering the placement to be more central. The only place I can put a wired keypad is in the hallway directly under the RCD box, as I can get a fused spur from there. I guess if the panel has a backup battery, I don't need to worry about a...

    Pryonix installation difficulty?

Good point, although my 3 bed house is pretty small, maybe the under stairs cupboard would be better...the keypad is wireless for this right? It kind of takes the headache out of where to place it, without running cables in plain sight.

    Pryonix installation difficulty?

Gotcha! I like the fact that I could put the control box in the loft, connect it to my UPS and ethernet and have the control panel downstairs. That would make my life much easier ;) Is the installation relatively simple? compared the likes of the Pyronix and Texecoms? Thanks

    Pryonix installation difficulty?

Hi, thanks for your input... Is this the sort of kit your talking about? https://www.superlecdirect.com/p-sugelecuk-honeywell-le-sucre-wireless-security-alarm-kit?gclid=CjwKEAjw_PfGBRDW_sutqMbQsmMSJAAMpUapLaVix4qiRSjMpkXZLGDn7Hd2zzPXGFFUJ6YfRxTumRoCs7Dw_wcB I like that the control panel is...

    Pryonix installation difficulty?

Thanks for the advice guys. When I spoke to Map Security today, they said the Pyronix system is their best seller, over 50 kits per week or month (my memory is terrible) so it certainly seems like a trade favourite. I can live with £30 something a year to be honest, I really like being able to...
