Here's a couple of pictures of the inside of the door

The rear of door has one pice of flat bar that the wire cable attaches to. I can pull on this to release the door but because the handle is in the lock position the bar won't turn to show the screws heads so I can dismantle the lock. Will I have to cut the bar into pieces or is there an easier way.

I have the same t bar handle lock . I don't have the keys the piece of metal with the wire attached is covering the 2 screws and the T bar handle is locked. Which is the best way to remove the lock so I can see the spigot length and replace the garage door lock.
