Thanks for all your help, manage to figure it out and all is working fine! :D

the first cable appears from origin unknown!, it enters the switch and then exits again, it then enters the light rose and 2 cables exit, one of these cables then seems to go to the next light and the other disappears to who knows where?! All lights seem to follow this pattern and are all wired...

:cry: How do you connect a new switch/light into a circuit that has normally has one (live) wire running to a switch then to the light and then two black cable leading way?? There seems to be no junction boxes
