    Thanks for the info. The lights stay at 30% brightness all the time so I suppose it is no big deal if they do not come on all at once. Doesn't seem worth the effort of buying additional PIR's

    ok I think I got it. The junction box goes before the switch for the original light and wired as per the diagram. 1 question though, The original wire is a 3+ so has a yellow wire. I take it that nothing from the 2+ gets connected to this in the junction box for my switch or new light? However...

    Nope I don't understand. The 3 way+ runs from the switch to the existing light (which I can not get acess into to connect another cable to the second light). I will have to fit a junction box in the middle of this cable. Question 1 can I just run my 2+ cable to the second light from the junction...

    A junction box is the way to go. The original cable turns out to be a 3 plus earth and I just bought 2 plus earth. Had a look at the diagrams but couldn't see how to wire up the junction box with a 3+ to a 2+. Hope this make sense

    If I connect 2 or more PIR lights together when I trigger one senor will they all light up? This is what I am after.

    I am looking to wire two additional lights from 1 switch in my garage. I have seen guides from ceiling roses and have done this before but not managed to find a guide from a switch. Thanks
