Thank you - If I were to do this and then cut the soil pipe back what connector should I use as diamater of soil pipe is narrower than the "socket" the pan connector fits into? Just on you tube looking - will I need to solvent weld it?

Its not aligned property - the fixing were supplied with basin and toilet - well sold to match £15 for fixings but bought them incase they were specific.

As far as this fixing - acceptable ? He changed the copper going to taps, stopped the uphill bend at bottom of basin by swapping to flexi basin waste - I just thought cutting the pipe shorter to make 90 degree bend so as not trying to run uphill would be way to roll? albeit the 90 deg bend was...

Well I found it after googling fittings after seeing gaping gap - sent Mrs out to pick it up - he tried said it would not fit - with this fitting the waste exit into stack was the opposite ie too far back rather than too far forward if that makes sense?

Ironic im left holding this as its "unsuitabe"?

Is £250 peanuts or the price to expect for straight basin and wC swap and pan connector swap on another. Should it be more?
