    Hi, I need to replace my 3 port valve as my heating is not working. Have wacked up the cylinder to 80c so that the hot water warms the rads as a temporary measure - will this cause any damage short term? I know it should be on 60c

If I switch on the hot water then the rads get warm as a result of the water going round. But when the cylinder is satisfied with the hot water, boiler stops firing and rads soon go...
