thanks for all your advice peeps, would it be simple enough then just to get myself a manual gearbox and bolt it on and put a clutch pedal in? my mums bf thinks all we need to do is get a man gearbox n clutch bolt it all on and thats it! is this th case?

it all confuses me lol its a 1996 mk3 fiesta on a n plate, what it does is dont pull away with kangerooin and basicly plays up all the time. does it need a whole new gearbox?
