It must have been put together whilst the whole structure was being put together is what I’m thinking. Even slackening both ends doesn’t give it enough room to pull out because of the cupboards carcass. Grrrr! Frustrating. I thought it was a simple job as well. Thanks for your input guys

It is a qtr turn screw but the plastic bit is still fixed in. Do I twist it? Do I lift it? Do I lever it off outward with a screw driver? Haven’t seen these fixings before. Don’t know how to remove it. Do I need to take the cupboards off first? If I can’t get the panels off the only thing I can...

Also attached is pic of front of cupboard. There are a few more to take off too from other cupboards but all have same fixings.

Trying to take off wood panels between kitchen cupboards to paint them but unable to remove them. The attached photo shows how they are fixed at both ends but struggling to move them. Any hints???? Any help would be appreciated. Ross
