Are these roof tiles a problem?

Hi, I looked out of upstairs bedroom and can see loose tiles on the roof. Do you think these are old?? There are no visible leaks. What should I do, really don't want to have to pay for scaffolding etc just to check!

Loud Shuddering noise from hot tap and possibly heating

Another clue : the cold tap in the bath has now started behaving strangely, you turn it on, not much comes out. I turn it off and on a few times and it kind of builds up to a normal flow. Very weird. Does this all point to washers etc?

Loud Shuddering noise from hot tap and possibly heating

Thanks, but why would it start now, after years of being fine? And as per separate issue, bit of a coincidence that they both go at once? BTW the heating thing happened only once, the tap is constantly shuddering when hot open just slightly Thanks all

Loud Shuddering noise from hot tap and possibly heating

It does it only when boiler is on. Hot tap only slightly on, just more than a trickle. Could it be something to do with steam? Water pressure or temperature? Or something more sinister? Thanks

Loud Shuddering noise from hot tap and possibly heating

Hi All, recently, when I turn the bath hot tap on, just slightly, a very loud shuddering, like a pneumatic drill, can be heard from the pipes/floor/tap? When I turn the tap on fully, it stops. Is this water hammer? It doesn't happen all the time, just every so often. But it is so loud and...

    Cupboard under stairs

Thanks, I cleared most of the muck out. Turns out supports were built on top of crude brick columns on top of loose hard-core. Terrible.i am removing them and replacing with struts that go all the way to concrete base. Pics attached.

    Cupboard under stairs

I want to build a cupboard under our old stairs. At the moment there is a small coat hanging area, but the far end is boarded over. I removed a board to see behind, the area where the stairs meet the ground is full of rubble and soil like stuff, some bricks and planks appear slightly...
