In terms of the warnings, I'm assuming you can't use the small cables coming out of the terminals? I will wire the 6mm cable directly in but I am confused too! Maybe lost in translation

Hi, yes in UK. There are a couple more brass connectors in the pack but not fitted. I have various sizes of cable so that's no issue. It's a 6kw hob

Just bought one too, same confusion! Is the joining plates for three phase, or do you need them for 220v too?
