    Deep shower waste trap advice

Hi Kinhell What solution did you come up with in the end? I have exactly the same problem in a loft conversion. Infact I’m amazed more people haven’t encountered the identical issue with a standard flooring being 18mm and the recommended cement bed as you’ve stated …

    Pyronix Enforcer

Just an update to say the front door sensor is now working in unison with the control panel once again. Many thanks for the advice, suggestions and general help clearly I had confused the system previously in how I added the sensor .... Appreciate it.

    Pyronix Enforcer

Definitely learned to Final Exit being the front door but I will check again tomorrow to be doubly certain. Handymanjo I’ll try making zone one unused as you suggest and see if that does indeed clear the error … will try tomorrow as I dont want risking the alarm going off in error tonight

    Pyronix Enforcer

Wireless Mismatch Detector Hi, I’m getting a Wireless Mismatch Detector error in relation to a replacement wireless door sensor I have installed. I have followed the process of deleting the original sensor and adding the new one. It’s “Learned” it and so it recognises it but I cannot work...

    Rads heating on HW circuit

Two final questions before I begin tomorrow morning! When it comes to draining down the system do I need to lock the HW zone valve open manually in order to drain the primary circuit ? The CH circuit Im familiar with. Secondly if I rotate the pump forwards through ninety degrees that should...

    Rads heating on HW circuit

One question, the fact that the pump is on the return circuit, I assume the Auto ByPass Valve direction is still from Flow to Return and not the opposite way around ?

    Rads heating on HW circuit

Good to know, I’ll get an auto bypass valve in that case whilst I’m in that spacious area

    Rads heating on HW circuit

Thanks Madrab, would you still me inclined to leave that gate valve as is ?

    Rads heating on HW circuit

Jeff, it’s piped to that one rad via those two highlighted pipes as all the others are on the main CH loop beyond the zone valves. Not much room above the boiler but I’m guessing if I could somehow Tee off the main CH circuit into those pipes feeding that one rad that ‘should’ solve it ?

    Rads heating on HW circuit

Hope this shows it much clearer than I can explain it … hopefully it lets you see the two pipes in question that go soley to the bathroom rad causing the issue in question

    Rads heating on HW circuit

Thanks Madrab. I’ll put a bit of hi viz tape on the two pipes in question and upload another photo

    Rads heating on HW circuit

Madrab. As you will see other than being a cramped space with the red gate valve in question as you predicted, the pump as others have noted on a previous post, is on the return circuit And that the pump is at the wrong angle …
