    Pyronix DIGI-WIFI alarm panel not seeing home broadband

    Thanks for the info regarding the channels. We had a power outage and when the router restarted it selected channel 13. The WiFi module needed rebooting in the panel which solved 1 problem, then I confirmed the same as the original post.

    Are these Pyronix PIR’s really this unsophisticated?

    My Pyronix installer put the PIR/Microwave sensors in the garage to allow for the possible greater temperature difference and draughts.

    Decking End Grain Preservative

    I used the ultimate twice since October and each time I did it how it's suggested with 2 coats. I also read positive things about it and thought that because it's water based it'll take longer to dry and therefore penetrate deeper. Maybe it does, but the normal oil does make the water bead.

    I built decking last year. I used proper end grain on all cut faces and seems more permanent. It's worth using it and doing it correctly.
