I have these window handles/locks that need replacing as thread seems to have worn so the handle becomes loose. But I have no idea what type they are and the ones I’ve looked at don’t seem to have the length either side (which is screwed to the window with handle in middle) please can anyone...

@^woody^ Out of interest it’s not sulphate attack is it? Only we have a concrete floor the other side with some damage/dips in it

@Nige F ah thank you! It just looked so much more crusty than the google pictures! @jonbey ah I see, so just normal then I guess? There was quite a lot of overdrawn grass/brambles right against the brick so don’t know if they made it damp! Any ideas to get it off without damaging brick...

and how can I get them off! Not on other bricks around the house as far as I can see. Other side of the wall is the living/dining room with concrete floor. Cavity walls with insulation. Encrustations seem to be below DPC I’ve googled but nothing seems to match up!

Hello! Really really need some advice on how to cover these outside drains, they have pipes to the side and are both different sizes! So all the things I’ve looked at won’t fit! I have an adventurous toddler so worried she may fall over these. Please help!! Thank you :)

Thank you so much KenGMac for your reply, all of this is very reassuring. Is it relatively normal then for this age of property to have a few misalignments and oddities, such as the doors being slightly out and the concrete floor with a slight dip? I was just associating all of this together...
