Tried this but didn’t work. It does click when you switch between on and off. I also noticed the neutral connection was really loose, so re did this but still no joy. Going by the rubbish connection on the neutral, I wouldn’t be surprised if the connections inside the boiler are bad. Am I able...

Probably same yes as the email address for support in the manual is a Salus one. Well I tried switching to manual and off, but this doesn’t turn heating off. So hopefully its a simple wiring issue and not anything else on the boiler?

Well I was able to remove the receiver ok, and the boiler doesn’t seem to be doing the anti cycling anymore with (the egg timer symbol). But the heating is still permanently on even when the thermostat is set to off, and the light on the receiver turns off.

Ahh interesting. There is a separate transmitter and receiver which is an instinct Instrt520RF. Could this cause a problem if the old receiver is still attached?
