    appliance pipe work

thanks Terry. So just dangling in there a few inches? I'm doing a test rinse now. I gave up on that valve and just using the new setup with the T valve I installed. Could've saved about £40 by paying a bit more attention. lesson learnt

Dishwasher installation help needed. which Y piece etc

Terry. You'll never believe it. After all that fuss I found this in the cupboard next to where the new dishwasher would go. Can you tell me what waste hose would fit this standpipe? I'm guessing that's what the standpipe is for.

replace cold water valve with tee valve

What's the best way to turn this into a tee / Y so that it can feed both a dishwasher and washing machine? This would be the replacement right? https://www.screwfix.com/p/compression-appliance-tee-brass-x-x-15mm/24030 Will that screw directly onto the existing valve? Thanks

Dishwasher installation help needed. which Y piece etc

Hi, I'm after a bit of advice before installing a new dishwasher. - Is this the Y piece I need for the waste water? https://www.screwfix.com/p/washing-machine-y-piece/81000 Lots of people are saying it leaks. Is there an alternative? - Do you use any sort of solvent cement or something for...

    Thermal store replacement advice

We need to replace a Gledhill PulsaCoil A-Class thermal store. It has cost lots of money in repairs so ideally we don't use a Gledhill product again. Are there good alternatives? Also - is the A-class unvented or vented? Why would we choose one over the other? (we are in a flat and the...
