    But wouldn't that be putting the switch and sensor in series meaning that you'd need both to have the fan running? I'd need the fan to run with the lights or with the sensor. Would that make a neutral loop on the same circuit though?

    Thanks for your advice. Will take it on board. Isn't that the definition of a ring main circuit? All ring main circuits have 2 legs to the circuit. The distance from the MCB to the double socket on either side is approx. the same distance. How is 4 double sockets inadequate? That's 5 plug...
