    Radiators not heating

A plumber looked at them a bit ago but I wasn't convinced the valves were the problem. I can't think of the name but it begins with a "T", and he said I have to replace like for like due to how many wires there are in the valves.

    Radiators not heating

Ahh, okay. So all signs are pointing to the zone valves which will need replacing?

    Radiators not heating

I have a combi boiler, no storage. Even if the valves are manually open could it still be the valves which are the issue? Could it be anything to do with the little black box where the valves are connected to?

Hi guys Wondering if someone has an idea to my issue even my plumber doesn't know why. Firstly, the boiler is about 3 years old (moved into new house Sept 2019). The boiler is absolutely fine. I'm getting hot water to all taps and showers, so we can rule the boiler out. I have 2 central heating...

Would painting them in black bitumen paint help with longevity, or would it not make much difference as they're already pressure treated?

    base for Timber decking frame

The ground has already been dug off and filled with MOT so is compact. I have started to channel out small trenches so I can concrete in 3x2 treated timber...

    Banging Noises In House

Bit of an update. It may well be my neighbours as it seemed to have started when they moved in around May. Considering the house is new (12 months old now) and floor construction is 150mm PIR floor insulation ontop of concrete floor beams running parallel with neighbour, and all floor joists...

And to top it off, my kitchen sink cold tap has no pressure. It's just trickling out all day. All other hot & cold taps, showers and WC are working fine. This one may be easier to fiqure out though than the bangs.

I will do. I just hope it vanishes as quick as it appeared! I will report back when/if it goes away.

Definitely not the wind. Thought about that already. There's no wind when it happens. I try to stick my head outside when I hear it to see if I can hear it outside but I can't.

No. But there used to be allotments many years ago on which these houses were built. Only a small piece of land - just 5 houses here.
