It sounds more like a toilet cistern refilling rather than a fan. I was told this boiler was meant to be very quiet. It’s doing it every 15 mins now.

I’ve just had a new combi boiler fitted and it is making a loud noise every 15-30 mins. It sounds like a plane taking off. The heating is off and I’m not using any water at the time. It is a Worcester Bosch greenstar 8000 Life. I’ve never had a combi boiler before but don’t think this is normal.
