I got the blind back up by inserting one end into the pin that was stuck and then forcing the other end with the chain in with a screwdriver. Then, once, in, the tension in the chain made it work both ways. I now need to attempt the other four but think I might give it a miss, what with the hot...

FIXED!!!!

Even worse news, I can't get the blind back up as the pin is stuck in the bracket and won't budge. I wish I just let it be.

... good news: chain guard just popped off manually. Bad news: chain wheel still won't turn. .

Here's a photo of me trying to prise away the grey middle 'screw' with a knife, it wont budge either. I think I'll leave this blind as is.

Hi sircerebus666, yes, this blind's chain is totally stuck. I have 11 blinds in total and 4 of them require attention, as I'm living in a semi-dark flat now since March due to lockdown/shielding. Three of the blinds have the chain link too close to the wheel so the blind can't be rolled up...

I can't risk breaking this as then I'll be without a bedroom blind and all my neighbours would be able to see in and I'm not risking a handyman during Covid, so could anyone tell me what I should do with this blind? I can't turn the screw much either clockwise nor anti-clockwise to release the...
