PS, the flow through the head seems fine sowhy does it stop?

Hi Tincup, thanks for the advice, it is working!!!! Need a new head I guess. The hours I spent on the net trying to find an answer, last night I ordered a new shower, need to take it back.

It is about five years old and when switched on will work for a few seconds and then cut out, no flashing lights, no solid light. Sometimes it will work if you do a reset or stretch the shower pipe. Any thoughts anyone, please?
