    Cutting Decking at an angle

Kind of. The angled line is the fence line, the straight line at the bottom would be the line of the lawn.

    Cutting Decking at an angle

Hi folks, Just need a quick bit of advice on how to cut decking at an angle along a fence. I've attached a very, very basic sketch of the shape i'm decking, which is basically two angled fences at the side with a square top and bottom 5m wide by 3m long. i'm sure it's probably just a case...

Afternoon all, I've a problem with a leaking external stoptap in our outside toilet. Ideally I want to turn it off at the tap, however if this isn't possible info on how to cut it off completely (the supply, not the pipe) would help. To explain, the pipe comes out of the concrete floor (I...

Not at home at the minute to check what material it is. Does it make a difference whether it's lead or copper? All I want to do is either stop the leak or cap it off completely.

How do i stop a leaking exterior pipe

I'm guessing copper? Looks like original pipe from when constructed so if not copper, its whatever they used to use in the 'old days' (1950ish).

    Fitting a timeswitch

Forgive me for being a bit dim, but... If the current old thermostat I have merely turns the heating on when I slide it up, and turns the heating off when I slide it down, then what's the difference with the timeswitch i've got to install now? Surely it does the same thing, except it does it...

Cost of fitting a bathroom suite

So what exactly is it that costs so much? I'd have no qualms about turning off the water and taking out the current shower cubicle, sink and toilet if it makes things easier.
