    Ok, Covid test came back negative, so asked electrician to come round. He sorted it out in about 5 minutes. Live switched and one brown wire in 1way, the other 4 browns in com.

    Wait forget that. Had wrong wire. Ok done it again. Now bathroom light working. Fan on timer. But bedroom lights still won't come on without bathroom switch.

    Did it. Now bathroom light permanently on again. Fan works with switch, bedroom lights won't come in unless bathroom switch is on. Fan no timer.

    Looks like the live switch goes straight to fan.

    Yes they were all loose. I put the black with brown sleeve in 1way assuming it was right.

    So we're stuck with fan not on a timer, bathroom light works fine, but sons bedroom light only works if bathroom light on. Still better than no lighting in bathroom. Will try messing about with it again tomorrow.

    Yes it previously ran for 10 minutes after switch turned off. So... Thought I'd nailed it, but then tried light in sons bedroom, didn't work, yet worked a minute ago. Then turned bathroom light back on, and his light works again? So, went back trying each wire back in 1 way, none of them...

    One weird thing though... The fan now no longer has a delay. It was 10 minutes before. Now it's instantly off with the switch. It still had the delay before when it worked with the switch, when the light was stuck on. I made sure it wasn't stuck on too, switched it off at its own switch, then...

    Yeah it had longer screws. Not one switch in house has used caps.

    Done it. Bathroom light permanently on, extractor activates with switch. So, light switch turns extractor on and off but light does not go off.

    Hi, light stopped working in bathroom, checked bulb, then checked switch, found that wires had came loose out of terminal(s). I can't figure out where the wires go back in. Can't ask electrician round at moment because self isolating, waiting Covid results. There's no window in bathroom so...
